This eco-lodge was a wonderful place to stay. The location is excellent—just a 10-minute drive from Manuel Antonio National Park, and within a short driving distance of many restaurants with beautiful ocean views. The room was simple, spotless, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out. I was welcomed with a gorgeous complimentary drink, and in the evening, a delightful surprise was delivered to my room: a cacao ball with powdered cacao and a glass of warm rum—a unique and memorable treat. I had a 7:00 a.m. entry pass for Manuel Antonio National Park, but since breakfast normally begins at 7:00, the staff kindly offered to serve mine at 6:30. Their flexibility was greatly appreciated, and the breakfast of the day—flautas—was absolutely delicious. The combination of the beautiful setting, thoughtful service, and warm hospitality made this a stay I would happily recommend.

Our stay at Cielo Lodge was absolutely unforgettable and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made the experience extra special. The food was another highlight of our trip — every meal was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The local ingredients and creative dishes gave us a true taste of Costa Rica, and dining with such breathtaking surroundings made it even more memorable. Cielo Lodge offers an amazing variety of activities, making it easy to experience the beauty and adventure of Costa Rica. Whether exploring nature, enjoying guided excursions, or simply relaxing and taking in the scenery, there was always something wonderful to do. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous — lush, peaceful, and immaculately maintained. What truly amazed us was the incredible wildlife surrounding the lodge. We saw colorful birds, monkeys, and so many beautiful animals right in their natural habitat. It felt like being immersed in a tropical paradise. If you are looking for a place that combines luxury, adventure, incredible food, outstanding service, and the superb wildlife of Costa Rica, Cielo Lodge is truly a hidden gem. We cannot wait to return.

We spent 3 nights at Playa Nicuesa, and were totally bowled over. This place really is a hidden gem, and all the staff work hard to make it that way. Everything about our stay ran so smoothly, from our pickup and boat transfer on arrival, to our departure. Beautiful location, so calm and peaceful. Wonderful staff, all very friendly, polite and knowledgeable, and great that they always remembered our names! Olman's welcome on the pier and his easygoing manner made us feel at home straight away. We loved our room (which was spotlessly clean) - the furnishings and the wrap-around balcony with its jungle view and sounds. So much wildlife to watch and listen to! We particularly enjoyed our trail walks with the guides Oscar and Jean-Carlos, and I felt totally chilled after my massage with Isabella. The food was always freshly prepared and delicious. We're so glad we stayed here, and hope to return one day.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is excellent, the spa services were outstanding and the staff treat you with such kindness you feel you are at home. Having a hot tub on our patio was a plus and the shower is luxurious while feeling like you are outside. Highly recommend if you are looking for a tranquil and eco friendly place to stay.

Our stay at Poas Volcano Lodge was absolutely magical! If you are looking for peace, harmony, and a true connection with nature, this is the perfect place. The architectural and design choices are incredibly stylish and tasteful, yet the lodge feels completely cozy and like a home away from home. The interior design strikes a perfect balance between eco-friendly aesthetics and European comfort. Our room was comfortable with a breathtaking view. The heated blankets were an absolute lifesaver and a brilliant touch for the chilly mountain nights! The breakfasts were delicious, and the common areas had such a warm, inviting atmosphere in the evening. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone who cherishes tranquility, comfort, and quiet beauty. A perfect 10/10!
